Dialysis

The dialysis service at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center provides care to Veterans with compromised kidney function. Dialysis is a treatment to remove excess fluid, minerals and wastes from the body. The Cincinnati VA Medical Center provides both hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.   

VA primary care providers can request a consult for dialysis services through Nephrology.

If you are a non-VA dialysis patient your outside social worker can contact the VA renal social worker at 513-861-3100 ext 6346 or 6429 for a possible transfer into VA health care for your dialysis needs.
