On Sept 14, Project Patriot is hosting a Fun Run and Picnic for Cincinnati's Fisher House which supports families of Veterans as they travel to Cincinnati to receive appropriate medical care. Come out to support a great cause! Check out the link below for more information:

Description
On September 14th, 2019, we will be hosting the second annual Project Patriot Fun Run & Picnic to help support the efforts of our local Fisher House and VA. This is a family friendly event and we welcome runners and supporters to join us in celebrating all that the Fisher House does for our Veterans and their families.
Last year, we raised over $2,700.00 and we intend to blow that number out of the water this year. This year The Project Patriot Fun Run & Picnic has moved back into Ohio and it will be held at Winton Woods. Registration will begin at 10:00am with the 5K beginning at 11:00am.
After the run, join us by the shelter for some good food and fun activities. We will have the grills going, ice cold drinks in the cooler, and plenty of snacks to help you refuel from the run! Additionally, we will have some fun activities planned like corn hole and Bocce Ball. After everybody has completed the run, we will then present the check to the Fisher House!
The Fisher House is an extension of the VA and is there to help veterans and their families be comfortable while they receive the care and attention that they deserve. As veterans focus on healing and recovery, the Fisher House allows their family to stay close, making sure home never feels too far away. With over 350,000 families served and $450 million saved since its inception, it is easy to see the Fisher House is such an important organization when it comes to helping veterans.

Registration:

When you arrive, please find a member of the Project Patriot team in the pavillion near the parking lot to receive your race bib and t-shirt. Please keep your ticket handy as it may be needed to confirm your arrival.

After Race:
After the fun run, feel free to stick around as we fire up the grill and hang out around the pavillion. We will have food, drinks, games as we relax and celebrate our veterans. After the race we will be presenting the check to our beneficiaries, The Fisher House.

Parking:
Parking can be found directly in front of the pavilion in Winton Woods.

Sign up today and help support a wonderful organization!

Time:   Weekly on Friday,   11:00 am to 11:45 am

This group is to provide support and information on a variety of topics important to gay men.  It requires a screening prior to joining the group.  Please contact Dr. Boehner to schedule an appointment for the screening process.

This weekly group is designed to offer gay male vets a safe and supportive environment in which to explore anything that concerns them.  Topics discussed can include health care issues, relationships, trauma, stress management, and substance abuse.   Veterans can provide and receive support from other members in an atmosphere of shared perspective.  Members report finding the group especially helpful in the areas of self-care and healthy boundary keeping.
