Situation Update

As of Monday, March 23, 2020 8:41 AM EDT

The Medical Center continues to take proactive steps to prevent the spread of coronavirus disease, known as COVID-19.

For your safety and for the safety of our staff and patients, if you are sick, please call your Primary Care Provider or the Medical Center at 513-861-3100 prior to coming to any Cincinnati VA facility. Many appointments are being converted to virtual appointments. Please check with your provider for more information.

Effective Monday March 23, 2020, the Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) under the operation of the Cincinnati VA will temporarily move to virtual care only. This includes the Cincinnati VA Medical Center clinics in Hamilton, Clermont and Georgetown, Ohio as well as Bellevue and Florence, Kentucky and Dearborn, Indiana. For Veterans in these affected areas who have questions about routine medical care, pharmacy refills, or to speak to a medical provider, please call your local CBOC.

Veterans may change their appointments to a telehealth appointment. Please call your provider to ask if this is an option.   If telehealth is not available, providers may be able to do a telephone appointment.  Not all appointments will be ideal for telehealth or phone call, discuss with your provider if it’s the best option for you.
