floor, provides the complete range of diagnostic
imaging modalities.

e.g. Upper GI (esophagus, stomach and
duodenum), and Barium Enema (colon)

Computed Tomography (also
known as “CT scan” or “CAT
scan”)

performed in The Nuclear Medicine Department,
which is also located on the second floor
of the hospital

at The Barrett Center at University Hospital.

Interventional Radiology
procedures: some are performed at Cincinnati
VAMC and some are referred to The University
Hospital
